Check-in time- is flexible. If the cabin you have rented is clean
and ready, you may check in early. If we have back to back bookings,
check-in is at 2 pm. and checkout is 11 am . You may stay late if we do
not have a booking backed up to yours.
Booking Policy -All bookings require a two day minimum stay.
Holidays are usually 3-5 day minimum. There is a Non-Refundable Booking
Fee of $50.00 to $150.00 on all reservations included in the minimum
price. (Thanksgiving Holiday is a 4 night minimum, Christmas Holiday is a
4 night minimum and New Years is a three night minimum).
Security deposits of $150.00 to $500.00 are charged on all rentals.
Security deposits to be refunded after cabin is inspected, cleaned and
linens inventoried. $100.00 / minimum for pets. $500.00 / minimum for
month rentals. $1000.00 / minimum for groups.
TOT TAX is a 10% Transient Occupancy Tax required by the County of
Riverside and is charged on all rentals.
Cancellations– We require a 15 day Notice of Cancellation on
regular bookings and 45 days on all Holiday reservations to avoid any
balance due charges. The Booking Fee is Non-Refundable.
After the 15th day prior to check in (45 days on Holidays), you will be
liable for 100% of the cabin charge. If we are able to re-rent the cabin
you booked and cancelled; you will be refunded the number of nights we
were able to re rent the cabin for.
Payments–The Non-Refundable Booking Fee will be charged
when your reservation is made. Payment in full must be received 15 days
(45 for holidays) prior to your arrival date. If you are using a credit
card we will charge it at that time. If you wish to pay by personal check
it must be received in our office 1 week before payment is due, so as to
allow time for the check to clear. A $25.00 fee will be charged on all

at 26115 Hwy. 243 Suite A. There will be a map to your cabin and other
information needed when checking in. If you are going to arrive after 5
p.m., please let us know so we make arrangements for the key.
Additional Items To Bring with you are good warm clothes even in
summer; socks, full toed shoes or boots, hats. Jackets, sweaters or
coats. Towels (unless you ordered towel service or if your cabin has a
spa), bath mats, kitchen towels, all soap and personal products,
condiments and food.
During wintry conditions, bring tire chains and snow shovel.
If the snow gets deep we will attempt to plow the road to the cabin.
Any requested plowing will be at the cost of the tenant. During
wintertime some cabins can be inaccessible to most vehicles. We cannot be
responsible for icy or snowy conditions on driveways or steps. Remember:
you are coming to the mountains.
Phones - most cabins have phones. Cell phone service works well if
you are on a major carrier's network. Phones are restricted to local
calling. Use your access number for your calling card or 800 COLLECT,
etc...to reach an outside line.
Trash - On your departure please do one of the following: either
take trash to the dump-the dump's hours: 8:30 to 4:30, Closed Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and holidays; or bring trash to our office when dropping off
your cabin key.
Linen Service– Sheets are now included and beds are made prior to
your arrival. For an additional charge towels can be supplied. A towel
pack is available for $20.00, it includes 4-bath towels, 2-hand towels,
2-body wash cloths, and 1-bath mat for the bathroom, and for kitchen
2-kitchen towels and 2-dish wash rags. Also you get a bag of rags
(unlimited with a phone call) to wipe shoes, kids, bikes, dogs...whatever.
Firewood - Fire wood is not included at the advertised price.
We can supply firewood to your cabin for $7.00 /bundle of hardwood.
Please…. DO NOT REMOVE THE ASHES FROM THE FIREPLACE...WE WILL CLEAN IT!
All cabins are Non Smoking...and some do not allow pets. Please
ask. The cabins that allow pets will include an additional $25.00 fee. If

On your departure please turn the heat to low and turn the lights
off. Please return the keys to Idyllwild Cabin Rentals. If we are not
available, leave the keys in the wooden box next to the office door. If

The cabin will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Remember that in
the mountains cobwebs and dust are normal, please be prepared to encounter
these inconveniences. The water heater, heat and some lights will be on
when you arrive.
On your departure leave the cabin clean to avoid additional charges
or loss of your security deposit. Please turn the heat to low and turn the
lights off. Please return the keys to Idyllwild Cabin Rentals, if we are
not available leave the keys in the black comments/key drop box next to
the office door.

Properties are privately owned and the management
reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible
for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or
valuables of any kind. Items in cabins are subject to charge.
